In Sydney, come the very first days of November, the streets turn purple as the Jacarandas flower.
It is honestly, the most beautiful time of the year. I get to walk past this absolutely magnificent tree on my way to work. And, it makes everything better.
This year I heard a story about the origins of the Jacarandas in Sydney. Apparently, a maternity nurse, from long ago, would gift each new mother a baby Jacaranda tree. What a beautiful history if that is the case!

A book is written by an author, but so much work goes into it. It is honestly astonishing. This week I got to listen to some of the first voices for the audiobook, which is being expertly produced by Wavesound. I ADORE audiobooks. Sometimes, I find it difficult to read especially while I am writing or struggling to write, so an audiobook is the perfect solution. Listening to actors read my writing was the strangest thing ever. So cool and so humbling.
Either way, it isn’t long before you can all read it or listen to it yourself.
