To every single person who has supported the book, by buying, reading, or recommending. Honestly, it overwhelms me. I feel incredibly grateful.
I have met the loveliest people this month. Other authors, booksellers, and especially readers. It has been incredibly joyful getting to know each and every one of you.
The reviews are in and it tells me, that so many of you have taken this book into your hearts. I’m incredibly delighted. It is more than I could possibly have hoped for. If you have not, please leave a positive Goodreads or Amazon review. I appreciate it more than I can say.
A huge shout out to my friends and family. My cousin Sara and her partner Shayne for organising everything from mircophones to beer coolers. My beautiful sister-in-law, Lauren and my brother Adam for bookmarks and pep talks.. My other cousins for buying umpteen copies and sending me love and support. My work colleagues for being the books champion everywhere. My mum for listening when I lost my voice and cried a week later. My husband who was there putting up banners, and hosting a book launch for the first time in his life. And my kids, who could not have given a shit if we sold one book or one hundred because I’m their mum, and they just needed a snack.
