April

I quite like April.

Here in Sydney the weather usually settles into beautiful warm days and at night it cools enough to reach for a cardigan or jumper.

I’m not sure how your year is going, but for me it is flying by and I feel like I’m scratching my head trying to establish where the year has gone.

Today, I’ll give you a couple of links to where you can find me and also a couple of podcasts that I’ve done recently.

Also, I’ll be at Kirrawee Library on May 13th in conversation with Anna Loder. We’ll be chatting about The Last Resort. Grab tickets here.

Recent Podcasts

I had the chance to do two podcasts this month.

The first was when I got to chat to Meg Dunley.

Meg Dunley is a creativity coach and writer and an avid reader who loves encouraging others in their pursuits and helping them find a way to shine. She is often found deep in conversation with other creatives talking about their creative processes and projects.

We chatted about creativity, my writing process and things that inspire it. You can catch up with it here:

My next one was an amazing chat I had on Date with a Debut with fellow author, Nick Wasiliev.

You can hear us chat all things, The Last Resort. Also if you sign up to Nick’s substack. You can catch our second date, where he gives me a Fuck, Marry, Kill question about Jane Austen, Emily Bronte and Mary Shelley (Readers, I know you want to know what I said, so sign up).

I chat to Nick about period dramas, which influenced The Last Resort’s hero Nick Northby.

I’ve been loving:

The Other Bennet Sister – Perfect telly. Five stars. No notes.

Taskmaster – Season 219 (?) My not so secret crush on Greg Davies is a thing.

Practical Magic 2 – The trailer was out overnight. See you lot at the cinema.

Be good! Chat next month!
